Finley Williams is a member of an elite group of criminal defense attorneys who achieved Board Certification as a Criminal Trial Specialist. Less than 415 criminal defense attorneys in the entire State of Florida have achieved Board Certification in Criminal law, accounting for less than 1% of all criminal attorneys in the State. Mr. Williams is also the youngest attorney in Florida history to obtain such a distinguished designation, which is a testament to his talent, intellect, and dedication to his craft. National Trial Lawyers rated Mr. Williams as one of the Top 40 Under 40 Criminal Trial Attorneys in the country.
Prior to practicing criminal defense, Mr. Williams was an Assistant State Attorney in the 4th Judicial Circuit comprising Duval, Clay, and Nassau counties. He rose through the ranks quickly to become a Senior Felony Trial Attorney for the 4th Judicial Circuit and has handled thousands of cases.
